About Bruce
Bruce Armstrong has over thirty years' experience as a litigator and has tried over 100 complex civil jury cases to verdict in state and federal courts. Bruce's trial experience covers a wide range of substantive practice areas, including various commercial disputes and real estate, bankruptcy, administrative law, professional negligence, torts, personal injury and products liability cases. He has an impressive record of victories to his credit, including obtaining multi-million dollar verdicts in cases in which Bruce has represented the plaintiff and numerous defense verdicts when acting as defense counsel.
Bruce has also lectured and had articles published concerning a variety of trial-related subjects. His articles include "The Stealth Attack on Privileges," Voir Dire, Vol. 6, Issue 3, Fall 1999, "Avoiding Disqualification: Be Sure You Have the Right Expert for the Case" The Witness Chair, Issue 14, Spring, 1999, with Frances M. Bruce is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, the American Bar Association, the State Bar of California, the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, Los Angeles County Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Southern California Defense Counsel Association, and the Los Angeles Complex Litigation Inn of Court, among other organizations.
Bruce received his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota in 1972 and his B.A. in history from Bethel College, St. Paul, Minnesota in 1967.
