About Bruce
As a bright young talent from Duke University School of Law, Mr. Jaques was recruited by one of San Diego’s most prestigious law firms, Higgs, Fletcher & Mack, LLP. Messers. Higgs and Fletcher formed the firm in 1939. Ultimately it grew to include more than100 attorneys with 250 paralegals, researchers, and clerical staff. Mr. Jaques’ successes brought about his rapid rise through the firm to become an Equity Partner in their Business Litigation Department in 1988.
Seeking his own, more technology-driven orientation, he left the firm in 1996 to launch the JAQUES LAW OFFICE. Over the next 18 years, with Bruce Jaques’ high-energy approach, and employing technology to the maximum extent while utilizing services of selected other attorneys as each matter might require, the firm flourished. Today, the firm focuses intently on the relationship with its clients, providing access to highly skilled and proven legal services in a cost-effective manner. Our clients work directly with the attorney, not support staff, paralegals or lesser experienced attorneys.
