He served as former Assistant District Attorney in King's County, New York. There he handled misdemeanor and felony matters through trial. He also was assigned as a Special Narcotics Prosecutor for the City of New York, where he handled major drug cases. He served as, Chief defense counsel in death penalty murder case in New Mexico, where he was admitted pro haec vice.

Mr. Stuchin has been married just shy of 28 years to Cheryl Stutchin, and is the proud father of two children, Evan and Haley.
