About Hunter
Further, Hunter is in demand with clients who wish to undertake a fulsome approach to their estate planning through preparing their Wills and Powers of Attorney and those who seek counsel in the administration of the estate of a loved one who has passed. Hunter also regularly advises clients on their small business needs, whether it be incorporation, share restructuring, contract review or drafting. He uses his expertise in real estate to assist his business clients in the arena of commercial leasing.
Whether an individual is on a high from signing an agreement to purchase their first home or on a low from having lost a loved one, Hunter prides himself in being a dependable resource for his clients and providing them with sound, well-rounded, and down to earth legal counsel they can understand.
Education is an important component of Hunter’s legal service delivery as he believes an educated client is a successful one. Hunter frequently presents to realty and mortgage companies, first-time home buyers, senior citizens, and banking institutions. He finds such engagements an excellent opportunity to help clients and colleagues succeed in their endeavours.
Prior to joining Langevin Morris Smith LLP, Hunter graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, Ontario, receiving a Dean’s Gold Key. Upon completion of his articles at a full service firm in Toronto, Hunter was called to the bar of the Law Society of Upper Canada in 2012.
Born and raised in rural West-Ottawa, Hunter, his wife and children now reside on their own farm near Carleton Place. When not acting for clients, Hunter enjoys spending time with his family, staying fit, and being active in his community.
