Jérémie Martin | Montreal Divorce & Family Lawyer

Mr. Jérémie John Martin born and raised in Quebec City, but now lives and practices law on the Island of Montreal. As a lawyer, he practices and litigates in court equally well in both French and English.

Mr. Martin pursues first and foremost a diplomatic approach, preferring to settle out of court and thereby serving both the interests of his clients as well as those of the judicial system.

However, Mr. Martin is a born litigator. Already in 2006, he and his partner Yves Tanguay ranked first in the Quebec championships of inter-University debating Face à Face held in Sherbrooke. In addition, Mr. Martin was awarded the Bursary for the Best Litigator.

Please describe a case(s) in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
I was to recover a significant amount of money for clients that had been defrauded by a financial service representative. In another case, I was able to prove my client had been discriminated against when refused for employment.

How did you build a successful practice?
I started in my basement in Ville-Émard, Montreal and worked my way up through persistence, hard work and by going to Court often for many clients, helping them and gaining a lot of experience at the same time.

What should clients look for in a lawyer?
Availablity, motivation to help and capacity to deliver oral arguments quickly and efficiently when the situation is difficult.

All basic information concerning a case. I only give free consultation for clients referred by this site only.

What are your other interests in addition to law?
I enjoy traveling, tropical weather, and spending time with my family.
