Jordan Smith is a Partner with the firm. Her practice focuses on criminal and civil litigation, as well as related administrative advocacy. Jordan has appeared before all levels of Court within the Province of Manitoba. She defends individuals charged with all manner of criminal and regulatory offences. She also represents clients in civil matters, with an emphasis on tort-related and personal injury claims. In addition, Jordan frequently advocates on behalf of clients in administrative proceedings including CFS registry applications. She has also assisted numerous individuals as they navigate the mental health detention review process. Jordan received her bachelor‘s degree from Brandon University in 2011. She subsequently attended the University of Manitoba where she received her Juris Doctor degree in 2014, graduating on the Dean’s Honour List for excellence in academic achievement. She was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2015. Jordan is a member of the Law Society of Manitoba and the Criminal Defense Lawyers Association of Manitoba. She is an active volunteer with community-based animal advocacy organizations.
