Candace M. Williams is a law firm partner and attorney at Coleman & Chambers, LLP in the practice of family law. Ms. Williams provides representation to our clients in all areas of the firm's family law practice such as: divorces (contested and uncontested), child custody, visitation, and child support; alimony and spousal support; modification of child support, custody, visitation, and alimony; legitimation and paternity actions; post divorce issues; domestic violence, temporary protective orders/restraining orders; adoptions; grandparent and third party custody/visitation; appeals; pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, interstate child support and custody matters involving the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act.
Ms. Williams, as an attorney, is involved in all aspects of the court process from discovery, depositions, temporary hearings, emergency hearings, hearings on temporary protective orders to final hearings. As a divorce attorney, Candace often assists clients with simple estate planning such as drafting Last Will and Testaments, Living Wills, Durable Healthcare Power of Attorney, Financial Power of Attorney.

Candace works alongside senior attorney and founding partner Bob Coleman who also manages our family law department.
Candace M. Williams was born and raised in Gainesville, Georgia. She received her undergraduate degree from Brenau Women's College, cum laude, and her law degree from Mississippi College School of Law, with distinction. While in law school, Ms. Williams was an active member of the Moot Court Board, Mississippi Trial Lawyers Association (student division), Phi Delta Phi, and the Legal Eye student publication. She was the overall winner of the prestigious Taylor, Cook, and Bush Moot Court Board Competition in 2002, and a Semifinalist in the American Bar Association Moot Court Competition in 2003. Ms. Williams joined Coleman & Chambers, LLP as associate attorney/lawyer in 2003.
Ms. Williams is a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia, and the Vice President of the Young Lawyers Division of the Northeastern Judicial Circuit. When Ms. Cain is not serving her clients as their lawyer, she is active in our local community and often volunteers for charitable groups such as Habitat for Humanity, Gateway House, and Sunrise Camp.
