I successfully argued a stand your ground case and saved my client from having to stand trial. He is now a new proud father and about to get married.
How did you build a successful practice?
I work hard and I have fun doing it. My stellar track record and attentiveness to clients has made referrals a great source of business.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
You want someone that you can talk to and trust. Make sure that you hire an attorney that specializes in the area of law that you need, you wouldn't want the foot doctor to operate on your heart, so don't let the personal injury attorney take your criminal case.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
It's a HUGE factor. Each county, each courtroom, each judge and each state attorney is different. When people know you, they know that they can trust you - assuming you have earned it!

Name, arresting charges, case number and most importantly - what really happened.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
I have always been a defense attorney. I have never been a state attorney so I have never thought my clients should go to jail. I do only defense work because it's what I believe in.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Proving that an innocent client really is innocent - and then keeping in contact to see where life takes them.
What are your other interests in addition to law?
Huge football fan!! Love to spend my free time with friends and family
