About Carlos

Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Carlos is bilingual in English and Spanish. Carlos received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 1999 and his law degree from Tulane University School of Law in 2002.

Carlos started his career as an Assistant State's Attorney for the 11th Judicial Circuit in Miami, Florida in 2002. There, he successfully prosecuted thousands of cases including: DUI's; Robberies; Burglaries; Domestic Violence; and Murder cases. While at the State Attorney's office Carlos was the lead prosecutor assigned to handle the prosecution of former NFL player Barrett Robbin's case.

In 2005, Carlos left the State Attorney's Office and entered private practice in Miami, Florida. From 2005 until 2007, Carlos handled criminal defense matters throughout the State of Florida and immigration matters in Federal Court.

In 2007, Carlos was recruited to join Ross & Pines, LLC to head up the firm's immigration practice. Carlos' extensive experience makes him an invaluable asset to the clients he represents and his is bilingual ability allows him to effectively communicate with Atlanta's ever increasing Spanish population.
