Jeffrey R. Kooi is the founding member of Kooi Law. Attorney Kooi has accumulated numerous accolades during his twenty-year career representing injury victims. Eugene Mogilevsky received his Juris Doctorate from Indiana University School of Law at Indianapolis in 2006. He graduated from Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Information Science. He is currently admitted to practice before Indiana State courts and the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. He worked for Bankruptcy Law Offfice of Mark S. Zuckerberg, P.C. in 2008-2012 proudly serving thousands of consumers needing debt relief. He worked for Doyle Legal Corporation, P.C. in 2012-2014 representing major clients in mortgage foreclosure actions. He has been a faculty member and a lecturer in the Basics of Individual Bankruptcy (2010) and Annual Bankruptcy Institute (2011) seminars He practices primarily in the areas of consumer bankruptcy (Chapter 7 and Chapter 13), mortgage foreclosure defense, immigration, and general litigation. As a former immigrant from the Soviet Union, he had to learn the immigration rules and laws before he even started college, and is compassionate about helping other individuals and families get legalized in the United States of America. He is bilingual (English and Russian languages) and enjoys script writing for comedy clubs and producing comedy and musical shows.

I live in Fishers with my wife, Kelly, a preschool teacher, and our daughters, Claire and Carlie. I am an avid sports fan of Indiana basketball and Los Angeles Dodgers baseball. I also enjoy exercising, traveling, and trying new restaurants.

Jonathan Armiger helps individuals and families in Indiana recover money for injuries or death caused by the careless acts of others. Mr. Armiger grew up in the Indianapolis area and attended the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, Bloomington, receiving his B.S. in Marketing in 2007. He graduated cum laude from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2011. During law school, he served on the Indiana Law Journal. Mr. Armiger has spent his entire legal career representing injured individuals and families who have lost loved ones. David W. Stewart focuses his practice exclusively on plaintiff’s personal injury and wrongful death litigation. From the firm’s office in Indianapolis, Indiana, he assists clients throughout Marion County, the greater Indianapolis metropolitan area and other parts of the state. The types of cases that Mr. Stewart has handled have included big rig and other motor vehicle crashes, defective drugs, defective products, construction site accidents, and medical malpractice. During his career, Mr. Stewart has chaired more than 70 jury trials and he has been able to obtain numerous sizable awards. Outside of the courtroom, he has negotiated settlements that have been favorable to his clients. Some of the defendants that Mr. Stewart has gone up against have included the manufacturers of Reglan, Trasylol and Chantix, and he has also represented victims of transvaginal mesh complications. As an undergraduate, Mr. Stewart attended Wabash College in Crawfordsville, and he received his bachelor’s degree in 1986. Remaining in the state, he pursued his legal education at Indiana University School of Law, and he was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1989. Mr. Stewart is admitted to practice before all Indiana and Michigan state courts, and he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Indiana and the Supreme Court of the United States. An active participant in several professional legal organizations, he is a member of the board of directors of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Stewart is also a real estate broker and a member of the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board Of Realtors.

Richard Shea graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management in 1995 and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University School of Law – Bloomington in 1998. He has concentrated his practice in the field of Consumer Bankruptcy for the past 11 years. Richard is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. He has served on the Local Rules and Procedures Advisory Committee of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana and has taught at bankruptcy seminars.

Andrew Sawin received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University in 1989 and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis in 1995. He has concentrated his practice in the field of Consumer Bankruptcy for the past 15 years. Andrew is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.

I’ve spent most of my life living in Ohio and Indiana. I grew up in Ohio and moved to Indiana to finish school, including Law School at Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis. Prior to becoming an attorney, I worked as a business analyst for over five years in the student loan industry. I represent clients throughout the state of Ohio and Indiana in the following areas: Bankruptcy, Social Security Disability, Veteran’s Disability, and Immigration.

Mr. Petri has been a long-time resident of Indiana. He attended high school in Hammond, Indiana. He later attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, after which he served several years in the U.S. Governmental Service. His experiences in the service inspired him to enroll in law school, and the skills he gained during his service were an invaluable foundation for the practice of law. He graduated from Indiana University School of Law in 1966, and was immediately elected Prosecuting Attorney for Owen County. He served as Prosecuting Attorney until 1974. Since 1974, Mr. Petri has owned and operated his own legal practice, known today as Vernon J. Petri & Associates. Mr. Petri has significant professional and leadership experience. He has served a term as President to the Indiana Prosecuting Attorneys Association, as well as several years on the organization’s board of directors. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association. Lastly, he has served on the National Board of Directors of the Breast Implant Litigation Group of the American Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Petri has been named to the Million Dollar Forum, which is exclusively reserved for attorneys who earn verdicts and settlements in excess of $1,000,000. Even in the face of adversity, he has consistently obtained favorable verdicts for his clients. In his 40+ years of practice, he has fought to expand the rights of those injured in Indiana by exploring new theories of negligence, and in many cases, appealing them all the way to the Supreme Court of Indiana.
