About Carrie
Ms. Taylor is a shareholder of Richards Brandt Miller Nelson, whose practice focuses on defending workers' compensation claims. She has presented at numerous workers' compensation seminars and workshops. Ms. Taylor's practice is primarily focused on counseling and representation of employers' and workers' compensation insurance carriers before the Labor Commission of Utah and Utah appellate courts. She has served on the Legal/Health Care Committee of the Utah State Bar and presently serves on its Bar Examiners Committee. Before her tenure with the Workers' Compensation Fund, Ms. Taylor, who is a registered nurse, practiced in the area of medical malpractice defense. She has lectured at various hospitals and colleges of nursing on the topics of medical and nursing malpractice. Ms. Taylor has chaired numerous pre-litigation panels at the Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing, and has drafted over forty panel opinions.
