About Catherine
Catherine Tallerico's law practice specializes in employment counseling and litigation. She defends employers in employment related litigation and advises employers on a variety of employment law topics, including compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act and the Family Medical Leave Act. Ms. Tallerico also advises employers on issues related to drafting employee handbooks and policies, conducting internal investigations, complying with wage and hour laws, implementing drug testing programs, drafting covenants not to compete and confidentiality agreements, and generally attempting to reduce the risk of litigation. Ms. Tallerico advises and trains employers as to compliance with the ever- changing status of the laws.
In addition, Ms. Tallerico has substantial trial and appellate experience in civil litigation and handles cases involving matters such as real estate disputes, construction defects and insurance coverage disputes. She also drafts and negotiates construction contracts and assists with the administration of the same.
Ms. Tallerico is currently the President of the Colorado Association of School Boards. She has previously served on the Board of Directors of the Colorado Women's Bar Association and remains a member. She is a member of the Colorado and Boulder County Bar Associations. Ms. Tallerico is a frequent speaker on employment issues.
