About Chad
Chad W. Newhouse gives his clients comprehensive and experienced service while practicing mainly in the areas of family law, business law, wills and probation and taxation.
Chad attended Drake University Law School and earned his Juris Doctor in 1999. After passing the Iowa State Bar Examination, Chad worked for a small law firm in Cedar Rapids before starting his present firm with partner Darin H. Luneckas in March of 2003.
Born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Chad attended high school at Cedar Rapids Kennedy and received his Bachelor of Arts in 1996 with a double major in Political Science and Criminal Justice Administration from Mount Mercy College. While attending Mount Mercy, Chad was named captain and earned several honors as a member of the Mustang baseball team; he still holds 2 career records and 2 season records for the team.
Chad and his wife Molly live in Cedar Rapids where he spends his free time golfing, upland bird hunting and playing softball.
Chad is licensed to practice law in the Iowa State Courts as well as the Federal Court for the Southern and Northern Districts of Iowa.
