About Chad
Chad Schaff was born and raised on a farm/ranch in south central Montana. Chad went all the way through undergraduate school in Montana. After earning his Bachelor of Arts in History/Political Science at Rocky Mountain College Chad worked for a political campaign. He then worked as a data entry clerk and finally moved to Oregon for a change in his life. He worked in Sales for just over a year and then entered law school at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington.
While in law school Chad worked for the firm of Lee & Isserlis. Lee & Isserlis was a practice that focused on family law, disability claims, and personal injury. Chad mainly worked in the family law practice. After law school Chad and his wife moved back to Portland where Chad started to work for what was then David W. Owens and Associates. Chad worked in many areas of the law including Family Law, Bankruptcy, Wage Claims, Probates, Landlord-Tenant, and Criminal Defense. In 2009 Chad left to work on his own and ran his office out of Vancouver, WA where he narrowed his field of work to Creditor-Debtor practice, Criminal Defense, and some Personal Injury. Chad rejoined Owens, Pinzelik, Wood, & Schaff, P.C. in 2015 and now handles Criminal Defense, Landlord-Tenant, Civil Litigation, Bankruptcy, and Personal Injury.
Chad lives in Vancouver with his family and dog. He is a volunteer coach for the Clark County Youth Basketball leagues and has been for the past three years. He has also participated in the lunch buddy program at local grade schools and has done volunteer work within the classrooms.
