About Charles
Charles C. Lillie is a graduate of the University of Michigan, receiving his B.B.A. in 1967 and his law degree in 1971. In 1990 he received a Masters of Science in Public Accounting from Walsh College. Mr. Lillie is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and Oakland County Bar - Probate and Real Estate Sections.
Mr. Lillie has done an extensive amount of estate planning for both large and small estates and for families of second marriages. He has administered both large and small probate estates and trusts and has handled probate and trust litigation. In addition, he has handled guardianships and conservatorships on behalf of clients. Besides providing tax advice to clients, Mr. Lillie prepares federal estate tax returns, fiduciary and personal income tax returns, and tax returns for charitable organizations. In the area of real estate, Mr. Lillie has prepared and reviewed residential and commercial leases, real estate sales contracts, deeds, land contracts, and condominium documents. He has represented clients before Zoning Appeal Boards. He has established, represented and assisted in the sale, acquisition, and dissolution of closely held corporations. He has also represented nonprofit organizations including the formation of such organizations and obtaining IRS approval of their requested tax exempt status.
