Chelsea Mims, Of Counsel

Chelsea Mims was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. After graduating from the University of Alabama in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Economics, she continued her studies in Tuscaloosa, and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2017. She began her legal career as an associate with the Jacksonville, Florida office of a national insurance defense firm, defending well-known corporations and insurance companies in a variety of practice areas, and ultimately gaining valuable experience and insight she now uses to fight for her clients on the other side of the aisle.

Before joining Alexander Shunnarah Injury Attorneys in 2023, Mrs. Mims spent several years practicing with another large personal injury firm in Jacksonville, where she recovered millions of dollars for injured victims of motor vehicle accidents and premises liability claims. She is an active member of the Florida Bar – Young Lawyers Division, the Jacksonville Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice. When not practicing law, she enjoys traveling, watching Alabama football, and spending time with her husband and family.
