About Christina

Christy joined the firm in 1997 after graduation from the University of Alabama School of Law with honors. She attended undergraduate school at Auburn University and received a B.S. in accounting in 1994.

She is admitted to practice in Alabama and Georgia, along with the Middle and Northern Districts of Alabama, the Middle District of Georgia, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Christy practices primarily in the areas of civil litigation, including personal injury, tractor trailer wrecks, and automobile accidents.  She also helps people with mobile home breach of warranty litigation and arbitration, new home construction litigation and arbitration, insurance bad faith litigation, consumer fraud and warranty litigation.  She is currently involved in several class action arbitrations in these areas as well.
 
Christy is past president of the Young Lawyer's Section of the Alabama State Bar, where she also served as co-chairperson of the admissions ceremony for the bar association and the minority pre-law conference. She currently serves as the bar commissioner for the Third Circuit of Alabama.  She is a 2007 graduate of the Leadership Forum of the Alabama State Bar.  She is a member of the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association, the Alabama State Bar, the Third Judicial Circuit Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Alabama Civil Justice Foundation, and the American Association for Justice. Christy is married to Van Wadsworth, who operates Dream Field Farms in Bullock County. They have three children and are members of the First United Methodist Church in Union Springs.
