About Christina
Christina Jepson Schmutz is a shareholder in the firm's Litigation and Employment Law departments. Christina maintains a general civil litigation practice with emphasis on commercial and business litigation, contract disputes, employment law and securities litigation.
Christina defends and counsels employers in a variety of areas including sex discrimination, religious discrimination, age discrimination, employee medical issues and disability, wrongful termination, and compensation disputes. She is a member of the Utah State Bar Labor and Employment Section and has lectured on numerous employment topics.
Prior to joining the firm, Christina served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable David K. Winder, then Chief Judge of the United States District Court, District of Utah, and the Honorable Stephen H. Anderson, Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. She graduated first in her class from the University of Utah College of Law where she also served on the Utah Law Review and competed for the National Moot Court Team.
