About Christopher

Christopher Alliotts received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Boston University in 1986 and his Juris Doctor from New York Law School in 1990.  Following his graduation from law school, he served a two-year clerkship with the Honorable Marilyn Morgan, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of California. 

Mr. Alliotts is a member of the California and New York bars.  He has practiced bankruptcy and commercial law in both jurisdictions over the past eleven years.  His diverse practice focuses on the representation of debtors, creditors' committees and trustees in all types and sizes of business cases. 

Mr. Alliotts is the author of certain articles, including Forms of Action: A Primer on Bankruptcy Practice and Procedure, Norton Bankruptcy Law & Practice (2d ed. 1993), The Evolving Standards and Applications of the Doctrine of Equitable Subordination, 8:1 Cal. Bus. L. News 11 (Winter 1993), and Protecting Retirement Plans, 2:4 Asset Protection 35 (March/April 1997).  In addition, he has been counsel of record for several published opinions, including In re M. Blackburn Mitchell, Inc., 164 B.R. 117 (Bankr. N.D. Cal. 1994), In re Wu, 173 B.R. 411 (Bankr. 9th Cir. 1994), In re Gonzalez, 241 B.R. 67 (Bankr. S.D.N.Y. 1999).  He has also traveled extensively throughout Latin America and Europe and is highly proficient in Spanish and Portuguese.
