About Christopher

Mr. Ballod is an associate in the Litigation Department.  His practice includes complex matters involving product liability, construction related liability, appellate and commercial litigation.

Prior to joining White and Williams LLP, Mr. Ballod served as a judicial clerk for President Judge Emeritus Stephen J. McEwen, Jr. of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.  During law school he served an externship with the Honorable Allan L. Tereshko, then Supervising Judge of the Complex Litigation Center in Philadelphia , and worked as an intern for the Honorable Joseph D. O'Keefe. 

Mr. Ballod received his J.D. from the Widener University School of Law in Delaware in 2002, where he served on the board of the Widener Law Symposium Journal law review as an Articles Editor, and was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society.  He received his B.A. from the Pennsylvania State University in 1998.  Mr. Ballod is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and is also admitted to appear before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the United States District Court for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania.  He is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, where he serves on the Appellate Courts Committee.  In 2008, Mr. Ballod was named in a survey of his peers as a Pennsylvania "Rising Star" attorney by Law & Politics magazine.
