About Christopher
Christopher B. Coppola has been practicing since 1998. Chris has lived and worked in West Des Moines all of his life. He is a member and/or practices in the Iowa Bar Association; Iowa Supreme Court; Iowa Court of Appeals; the Northern and Southern United States District Federal Courts. Chris practices law throughout the State of Iowa and has litigated cases in the Miami, Florida, Las Vegas, Nevada and other Midwestern states. Chris has had large jury and non-jury monetary verdicts.

Chris partakes in golf, recreational softball, exercise, snowmobiling, fishing and most activities that involve being outdoors.
Chris was born and has resided in West Des Moines all of his life. He attended Waukee Schools and Dowling Catholic High School. After graduating from Dowling, Chris attended and graduated from the University of Iowa in Iowa City. From there, Chris attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence. At Drake, he participated in the Drake Legal Clinic and was an integral part of the Elder Law Program, providing legal services throughout the State of Iowa to elderly Iowans. Upon passing Iowa Bar Exam, Chris became licensed to practice law in the State of Iowa.
Many members of Chris' family are lawyers, including, his father, Charles A. Coppola, his uncles, Frank Coppola, James Langeness, his brother-in-law, Matthew Kern, his cousins, Ed Coppola, Art Coppola, Carol Coppola, and Joe Coppola. He chose to enter the profession to join his father, Charles A. Coppola, who is also a partner with this firm. Chris married his wife Deborah in 1997 and they have two children: son Anthony, born in 2000 and daughter, Calliope, born in 2003. They live in West Des Moines, Iowa.
