About Christopher
Mr. Konzelmann is a partner in the Subrogation Department. He practices exclusively in the field of insurance subrogation. He received his B.A. from LaSalle University in 1987 and his J.D. from Widener University School of Law in 1990.
Mr. Konzelmann primarily handles complex residential and commercial fire losses from inception to resolution. This includes placing parties on notice of potential claims, hiring appropriate forensic consultants, coordinating and overseeing site and evidence examinations, working with consultants to determine the cause of, and responsibility for the loss, and litigating claims against the responsible parties through the trial and appellate process.
Mr. Konzelmann has obtained many multimillion dollar subrogation recoveries. His successes include a $6,500,000.00 recovery from various contractors and subcontractors responsible for causing a fire that destroyed a 32,000 square foot home in Colts Neck, New Jersey, an $8,100,000.00 recovery against contractors and subcontractors responsible for causing a fire that destroyed an historic building in Monmouth County, New Jersey, and a $27,250,000.00 recovery from various parties responsible for causing the fire that destroyed two apartment buildings in the Riverwalk at Millennium complex in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Konzelmann is an interior structural firefighter and an active volunteer in his town's fire department. He regularly attends hands-on and classroom fire service training, which makes him uniquely qualified to investigate and litigate fire claims.
Mr. Konzelmann provides formal monthly classroom training to the members of the Subrogation Department. Topics address all aspects of recovery law. The training keeps the members of the department up to date on issues and trends in the Subrogation field.
Mr. Konzelmann is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, and the District of Columbia and has investigated and litigated claims throughout the eastern half of the United States.
