About Christopher

Originally from Baltimore Maryland, Chris received his JD from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1997. He received his BA in History from Penn State University in 1994. After Law school, Chris clerked for the Honorable Michael E. Loney of the Anne Arundel County Circuit Court in Annapolis, Maryland. Subsequently, Chris represented police officers throughout Maryland in a variety of civil and criminal defense matters until relocating to Wisconsin in 2000.

Since arriving in Wisconsin, Chris has maintained a practice in insurance litigation including representing carriers and claimants alike in personal injury and medical malpractice matters as well as workers in workers compensation cases. Chris began work as an associate attorney at Matthiesen, Wickert and Lehrer, S.C. in November 2003 focusing on insurance subrogation and defense claims.

Shortly after starting with MWL, Chris was activated with his Wisconsin National Guard Unit in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Chris was on active duty with the U.S. Army for 18 months until May 2005. Shortly thereafter, Chris rejoined Matthiesen, Wickert and Lehrer. S.C.

Chris now makes his home in Germantown Wisconsin with his wife Kelly who works as a financial analyst with General Electric and has two kids, Mack and Ryan.
