Stephen McGuire is a 2012 graduate of Ave Maria School of Law. Prior to law school, he graduated summa cum laude from West Virginia University in 2005, with a degree in political science, and earned an MBA with high honors from Duquesne University in 2007. He is also a ten-year veteran of the United States Army. Stephen's practice is primarily focused on business and real estate law, appellate practice, and general civil litigation. He provides escrow and closing services for a high percentage of the brokered business transactions in Lee County, Florida, and serves as registered agent for hundreds of Florida corporations and limited liability companies. Additionally, he provides general counsel services to numerous local businesses and franchises. Attorney McGuire is admitted to practice in Florida, West Virginia, the Middle District of Florida, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

Lourdes Ferrer is the Founding Partner of Ferrer Law Group. She provides legal counseling on both transactional and litigation matters related to community association law, consumer protection law, business law, real estate and commercial litigation. Her clients include both homeowner and condominium associations, as well as individual property owners, corporate business entities, real estate investors and investment groups. Ms. Ferrer’s practice has an emphasis on community association law, consumer protection & commercial litigation matters. She is well versed in issues surrounding the Condo Act, HOA Act, Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Florida Consumer Credit Protection Act (FCCPA), and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), amongst other inter-related consumer protection statutes.

Geoffrey C. Curreri is the Managing Partner of Ferrer Law Group, PLLC. He provides legal counseling on transactional and litigation matters, related to community association law and commercial litigation. Mr. Curreri was born in New York and has resided in South Florida for over 40 years. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business, with an emphasis in Finance, from Florida Atlantic University. In 1995, Mr. Curreri obtained his Juris Doctorate from the St. Thomas University School of Law. Prior to joining the firm in late 2014, Mr. Curreri spent approximately 18 years in the insurance defense industry, representing some of the larger insurance carriers and the insureds. He was a frequent seminar presenter providing continuing education credits for the claims representatives on several topics. Mr. Curreri has written several articles on a variety of current event topics, to include his published work regarding the treatment of undocumented workers in their native countries within the March 2013 issue of Claims Journal, Southeast Edition as well as employer accommodations to an aging workforce within the July 2013 site for the Workers’ Compensation Institute (WCI). Prior to attending law school, Mr. Curreri’s professional background includes employment with an architectural/engineering firm, where he gained extensive knowledge and experience about the design and installation of medium to large multi-million dollar construction projects, including the development of and expansion stores in Dadeland Mall and Palm Beach Gardens Mall, assisting with the transition of the Burdines-Macy’s department store merger. The experience gained in the construction field, and interaction with general and sub-contractors place him in a unique position to handle claims relating to water damage, plumbing deficiencies, cast iron piping, roofing and failure to maintain issues. Mr. Curreri has handled a multitude of insurance defense claims to trial on a wide range of issues. These issues range from chemical exposure, repetitive trauma, causality and intervening events to name a few. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Curreri also practiced in the area of the Longshore Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act (LHWC) and its progeny. Mr. Curreri has donated his time to Habitat for Humanity, as he enjoys woodworking and home remodeling. He is also an avid recreational ice hockey player at several of the South Florida ice rink leagues.

Mr. Belleh focuses his practice in the areas of Real Property, Bankruptcy, Estate Planning, Business and Immigration Law. He has experience representing public corporations, privately-held corporations, and accredited investors, but takes particular pride in representing entrepreneurs and small business owners – the cornerstone of the American economy. Mr. Belleh is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law, in Buffalo, New York, with a concentration in financial transactions. He holds a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York and earned a Certificate from the Cours Civilisation Franςaise de la Sorbonne in Paris, France. He served as Corporate Counsel for a real property development firm, where he focused on the formation and operation of Real Estate Investment Trusts, real property acquisition and development, finance, and title insurance matters. He also worked as a commercial litigation associate at boutique litigation firm in Miami, where he focused in commercial disputes and business torts. He has extensive experience representing mortgage lenders and real property developers and investors. Mr. Belleh has jury and bench trial experience and has argued several cases successfully before the District Court of Appeal. Mr. Belleh serves as Corporate Counsel for a number of privately-held companies based in South Florida and operating in a cross-section of industries. He is an agent of the Attorney Title Insurance Fund and Old Republic Title Insurance and the owner/operator of Brightstar Title & Escrow, INC. He is admitted to practice in the Florida Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, and the United States Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Belleh is also a member of the Florida Bar Real Property and Probate Section, the American Bar Association, the Broward County Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
