Clifford S. Nelson is a New York City, NY, Manhattan, and White Plains personal injury and commercial litigation attorney with over 25 years of experience. Mr. Nelson brings passion to his work as a lawyer and is devoted to bringing about justice for his clients whether they be victims of negligent, intentional and/or fraudulent conduct. His clients include those injured as a result of motor vehicle accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, bus accidents, unsafe conditions in a roadway, sidewalk, building or home, doctor’s and/or hospital’s negligence, negligent security, intoxicated persons, assaults at bars, police brutality, correctional facility failures, violations of civil rights, work place safety failures including construction site accidents, breach of fiduciary duty and/or contract. Mr. Nelson has cases pending in the Bronx, Brooklyn, New York, Queens, Staten Island as well as in Nassau Counties. He also represents clients in arbitrations conducted by the American Arbitration Association and other private arbitration firms.

Mr. Nelson, in addition to serving the people of the State of New York in the courts, expends a significant amount of time in philanthropic, social justice and community activities. He is a member of J Street Pro-Israel Action Team and has lobbied congress as a team leader on behalf of its pro-Israel, peace platform. He has served as a moderator for the Women’s League of Voters of Westchester and as a coach in the Larchmont Mamaroneck Youth Soccer League. He writes poetry and his poems have been published in local Westchester County newspapers.

Mr. Nelson was admitted to practice law in the courts of the State of New York in 1991, (MSB Score top 10%) and the Southern and Eastern District Federal Courts located in New York in 1995. He received his law degree in 1990 from Hofstra University, School of Law, where he was honored to serve the student law clerk for Hon. Jacob Mishler, United States District Court, Eastern District of New York and as a member of the Hofstra Labor and Employment Law Journal. He received his undergraduate degree in 1986 from Skidmore College.

Mr. Nelson is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and was honored to served on its amicus committee from 2002 to 2012. Mr. Nelson works out of our Manhattan office located at 535 Fifth Avenue, 25th Floor, New York, NY 10017 and has been of counsel to the Law Office of Michael H. Joseph, PLLC since 2012. Mr. Nelson was a partner at Nelson & Nelson, PLLC from 1995 through 2012.
