Shawn Howard earned his undergraduate and law degrees at the University of North Carolina, graduating with honors. He represents North Carolinians throughout the state who have been seriously injured due to another person’s negligence or intentional wrongdoing. Shawn was named a Super Lawyer Rising Star from 2016-2020. For the past two years, he has been rated as a Super Lawyer. He is a member of both the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, organizations with membership restricted to those attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar settlements or verdicts for their clients. Shawn lives in Raleigh with his wife Samantha, son Evan, and daughter Quinn.

Andrew R. Dempster Jr. "Drew" is a second generation attorney. Drew grew up in Fayetteville, North Carolina where he graduated from Pine Forest High School. He received his undergraduate degree from Methodist University and his Law degree from North Carolina Central School of Law. Before joining the Smith Dickey Dempster Law Firm, Drew was an Assistant District Attorney in Cumberland County, North Carolina.
