About D.
D. Ray Murphy is a Director with Abernathy, Roeder, Boyd & Joplin, P.C. Ray's practice is concentrated in civil litigation, primarily commercial, real estate, and personal injury cases. He has extensive experience in both jury and bench trials. His practice includes representation of both Plaintiffs and Defendants. He has successfully enforced and defeated injunctine requests related to non-competes; pursued collection claims; represented and obtained favorable outcome for tenants and landlords. He co-chaired the case which resulted in the single largest deceptive trade practices verdict in Collin County history.
He has settled cases for undisclosed seven-figure results and he represented numerous landowners in complex title and boundary disputes.
