About Dan
Dan Linebaugh is certified as a specialist in Personal Injury Trial Law. He was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1985. Mr. Linebaugh holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law and a bachelor of arts degree in speech communications from Youngstown State University. While attending law school, Mr. Linebaugh received recognition for excellence in scholarship and placed among the top oralists in both mock trial and moot court competitions. In 2002, Mr. Linebaugh completed advanced course work in trial advocacy sponsored by the National College of Advocacy at Harvard Law School in Cambridge, MA.
In addition to being licensed to practice law before all Texas courts, Mr. Linebaugh is also licensed to practice law before the United States Supreme Court, the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas.
Mr. Linebaugh is a frequent lecturer at seminars for attorneys and other legal programs. In addition to being Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Mr. Linebaugh is also Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
Mr. Linebaugh is an active member of numerous bar associations, including the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice and the Houston Bar Association. From 1998 through 2000,
Mr. Linebaugh served as president of the East Harris County Bar Association and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the Houston Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Linebaugh also serves the State Bar of Texas as vice-chairman of the Pattern Jury Charge Committee for General Negligence and Intentional Personal Torts and serves as chairman for the Continuing Legal Education Committee of the Houston Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Linebaugh's reputation has earned him the privilege of representing clients from throughout Texas and all over the United States.
