About Daniel
Mr. Ferhat is a senior associate in the Litigation Department and focuses his practice on medical malpractice litigation and general liability matters. As a trial lawyer, Mr. Ferhat defends physicians, hospitals, and healthcare practitioners against professional liability claims at both the trial court and appellate court levels. He also defends corporations and other commercial entities against premises liability lawsuits. Mr. Ferhat has gained substantial courtroom experience. He has independently tried several cases to verdict before arbitration panels and judges and often acts as Second Chair in medical malpractice lawsuits. Mr. Ferhat has also argued before the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Ferhat received his B.S. in 1998 from Kutztown University. In 2002, he received his J.D., cum laude, from Widener University School of Law. While attending Widener, Mr. Ferhat served as the Editor-in-Chief for the school's Law Review, The Widener Journal of Public Law. He was also the recipient of the school's Legal Research and Writing Award.
Mr. Ferhat is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and is admitted to appear before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Trial Advocacy.
