Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
I recently had a case where the client had been found to be at fault for the car accident by the investigating police officers. However, by performing a thorough investigation, including obtaining the police body camera footage and accident reconstruction analysis I was able to obtain a six figure policy limit settlement for the client. .
How did you build a successful practice?
By providing effective representation for your clients and obtaining maximum results. This builds trust with existing clients and results in additional referrals.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
Experience in the industry. I spent 14 years on the defense side working for insurance companies before opening McCrary Law Firm and representing the injured parties. Also, you want an attorney with actual litigation and trial experience. I have been working 17 years as a litigator. Many attorneys don't have that experience and are fearful of the courtroom.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
It is very helpful to know the local judges and jury pools. It helps to determine the value of a case and the likelihood of success.

Instruct on the law surrounding the subject issue, what is needed to prove the case, and an assessment of whether you have a strong case.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?
Background facts, injuries, medical treatment, missed work, whether there are reports documenting accident, and the identity of witnesses.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
My extensive experience working on both the plaintiff's and defense side of personal injury, including working in house for the insurance companies. This gives me a unique perspective on how to get a maximum recovery for my clients.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Getting compensation for people who were seriously injured in an accident after they were the run around from the insurance company.
What are your other interests in addition to law?
Weight lifting, hiking, snowboarding, wine tasting, spending time with my daughter.
