About Daniel
I am an attorney licensed in the State of Ohio since 1991 and am now a partner with the Law Office of Kolb & Zigray. Early in my career I was a prosecutor where I gained valuable experience in trial practice, taking many cases to trial over the course of that time.
My practice is now exclusively in the areas of Contesting Wills and Trusts, Estate and Inheritance Disputes, Misuse and Abuse of Power of Attorney cases, Claims against Executors and other Fiduciaries, and other matters litigated in the Probate Courts in the State of Ohio.
I have handled Will Contests and other probate litigation claims in many different Probate Courts throughout the State of Ohio. I have extensive experience in all phases of litigating contested probate matters from the filing of the initial pleadings, through discovery and depositions, and also taking these cases to trial in front of a jury.
Classes/Seminars Taught:
Since 2002, I have been a monthly speaker on topics related to Probate Litigation at meetings of the Probate Committee of the Toledo, Ohio Bar Association. I have lectured on Will Contests and Probate Litigation for the Ohio Continuing Legal Education Institute, and planned and lectured on Will Contests and Case Law Updates for the Probate Litigation Seminar for the Ohio CLE Institute in Columbus, Ohio in 2007.
