About Darby
Darby Urey focuses his practice in workers' compensation litigation representing employers, insurers and individuals throughout the State of Maine. Darby also represents clients in personal injury matters, landlord/tenant, consumer law and unemployment law disputes. Darby is admitted to practice in Maine, Massachusetts and the United States District Court of Maine. He regularly presents seminars to employers and insurers on best practices in workers' compensation claims administration. He has also been a presenter at the annual "Comp. Summit" and on behalf of the Council on Education in Management. Darby is an Associate Editor for COMP, the Maine Workers' Compensation Journal. Prior to coming to Robinson Kriger & McCallum in 2000, Darby was employed by John Hancock Financial administering a class action settlement and on behalf of the Maine Unemployment Insurance Commission as a Law Clerk. Darby received his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado in 1993 and his law degree from the University of Maine School of Law, Cum Laude in 1999. Darby is a member of the Maine and Cumberland County Bar Associations.
Darby and his wife have two children and live in the Greater Portland Area.
