introduction
He began his criminal work when he served as an assistant prosecuting attorney for the Cuyahoga and Medina County Prosecutor's Offices from 1988 to 2000. In 2000, he left the prosecutor’s office and began doing criminal defense work in addition to his personal injury practice. He won acquittals and dismissals of individuals accused of rape, witness intimidation, aggravated burglary, kidnapping, aggravated robbery, OVI, and felonious assault. He has argued cases before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit, the Ohio Supreme Court, and several appellate courts. This experience taught this Medina and Strongsville criminal defense attorney how to build strong cases. As a result, he has built a successful practice in OVI, criminal defense, and personal injury, probably winning more OVI dismissals than any other attorney practicing in Medina today.
Mr. Sheldon is an experienced Medina lawyer, zealously dedicated to protecting the rights of his clients who are facing a criminal charge. As the government continues to enact laws that erode our rights to fair trials, just compensation, and protection from unreasonable searches and seizures, Mr. Sheldon will continue to battle the government and advocate the rights of the common man.
David lives with his wife, Elizabeth, and their three children in Montville Township, Medina County, Ohio.
