About David

David A. Glazer has more than 12 years of experience in the insurance and negligence defense field. David began his career with GEICO's in-house counsel.  He then went to work for a larger and well known firm in the field. In 2005, David formed Shafer Glazer with Howard Shafer.

David has extensive experience in the State and Federal courts, including trials and appeals. Throughout his career, David has been involved in the defense of automobile liability, construction liability, environmental/ toxic tort, general liability, municipal liability, premises liability, products liability, security company liability and workers' compensation claims.

David's cases have been reported in the State reporters and his articles have appeared in a diverse array of publications, such as the New York Law Journal, NYSBA TICL Journal, ABA, BOMA Magazine and the Washington Legal Foundation. He has lectured before business associations on legal issues.  More recently, David was honored as a New York Super Lawyer for 2006 by the Law & Politics Magazine.
