Questions & Answers

How did you build a successful practice?

The key to my practice is the responsiveness to clients and constant, timely communication, unique awareness of clients' legal problems and ability to analyze and strategize efficient solutions, and the efficiency gained from extensive experience in a wide variety of disputes ranging from simple to the most complex.

What should clients look for in a lawyer?

The lawyer listens, understands my problems and recommends practical solutions. The lawyer provides an honest assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of my case. The lawyer communicates - takes my phone call and responds to my emails in a timely manner and keeps me informed as to progress. The lawyer has the depth of experience so that I can trust the lawyer's advice. The lawyer is not intimidated by opposing counsel, but doesn't engage in unnecessary personal battles that run up cost and expense and don't benefit the client's case. The lawyer is sensitive to the economics of the case and is willing to keep the costs in line with what is at stake.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?

Knowing the local courts and judges can be a very important factor.

What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?

Generally, a broad outline of what the next steps would be in handing a legal problem.

What information do you need in a free phone consultation?

General summary of the facts and parties involved.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

Obtaining a good result for my client as efficiently as possible.
