About David
I served over 20 years in the US military. I served in the US Air Force and US Army Reserve as a military policeman. I am a disabled veteran as well. As an attorney, I had the privilege to serve Volusia County as a former assistant public defender and briefly as a former assistant state attorney. In 2019, while an assistant attorney general, I had privilege to be a part of the Florida Attorney Generals Military Veterans Assistance Program. Which assisted Florida's veterans, reservists, and active duty service members against fraud, scams, and unfair business practices. I cherished my time as a former assistant attorney general. I have been married for 23 years to my lovely wife Serap Dixon and we raised two beautiful daughters. My faith, family, friends, and country are very important to me.
