David R. Tyson serves as the managing partner of Tyson & Tyson since 1980. He received a B.A. in Political Science from West Virginia University in 1975 and a J.D. from California Western School of Law in 1980.
David has been admitted to practice before the Wet Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia. He is the Village Attorney for the Village of Barboursville, and a former Marshall University Criminal Justice and Political Science Professor. David serves as the Mental Hygiene Commissioner for Wayne County as well.
David is the former Chairman of the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission, former Huntington YMCA President. He is a member of the Huntington Rotary Club, and is Co-President of the Keith Albee Performing Arts Center.
