In 1992, David graduated magna cum laude from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois with a B.A. in Political Science and Public Administration. He went on to receive his J.D. at Indiana's Valparaiso University School of Law in 1995. From 1994-1995, David was the Executive Editor of Publications of the Valparaiso University Law Review. David graduated cum laude from Valparaiso as a Delta Theta Phi.
In 1995, David was admitted to the Supreme Court of the State of Indiana, the U.S. Court of Appeals 7th Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern District of Indiana.
Upon finishing his J.D., David joined the American Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, and the Lake County Bar Association. Some of David's Representative Clients include First Midwest Bank, First Financial Bank and the City of Hammond.
In addition to his practice, David works at the Hammond Legal Aid Clinic.
David was born in 1970 in Mount Prospect, Illinois and graduated from Prospect High School. David is an avid golfer and serves on the Golf Committee at Briar Ridge Country Club. David also enjoys spending time with his two children and coaching his son's little league team.
