PRACTICE AREAS
Ms. Ferras has been a Vacaville resident for nine years. She is admitted to all the courts of the State of California and to the U.S. District Court (Northern District of California, and Eastern District of California), and her civil practice is concentrated in the following areas:
Probate, Wills and Trusts: Administration of decedents' estates through court or private proceedings. Drafting wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents. Representation in probate and trust disputes.
Guardianships and Conservatorships: Representation in guardianship and conservatorship proceedings. Preparation of fiduciary accounts and reports.
Termination of Parental Rights and Step-Parent Adoption: Representation in termination of parental rights and step-parent adoption proceedings.
Family Law: Representation in family law matters including marital dissolution and legal separation, child custody, support issues and property division.
Debt Collection: Representation of creditors in collection actions and in enforcement of judgments.
Professional Memberships and Activities:
Ms. Ferras currently serves as a Judge Pro Tem of the Solano County Family and Small Claims Courts. She is a former President of Solano County Women Lawyers, and she served as Treasurer of the Solano County Bar Association. Ms. Ferras also served two terms as a member of the Bench-Bar-Media- Police Committee of the Solano County Bar Association. Ms. Ferras is a member of the Solano County Bar Association and Solano County Women Lawyers. Mr. Ferras is a member of the Family Law and the Estate Planning, Trusts and Probate Sections of the State Bar.
