About Deneen

A graduate of Mentor High School, Deneen LaMonica graduated summa cum laude from Cleveland State University in 1997.  She then earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Cleveland Marshall College of Law in 2000.

Following graduation from law school, Deneen worked at a boutique law firm in Cleveland, Ohio, and then Chicago, Illinois, defending asbestos claims on behalf of premises owners, product manufacturers, and contractors.  Deneen next worked at one of the largest law firms in Cleveland, practicing in the areas of commercial litigation, personal injury defense, anti-trust compliance, and white collar crime.  Deneen has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict in various courts around Ohio.

Deneen will be focusing her efforts at Ziccarelli & Martello on litigation matters including personal injury, privacy and other civil matters.

Deneen is licensed to practice law in Ohio and Illinois, and is an active member of the Ohio, Cleveland Metropolitan, Chicago and Federal Bar Associations.  She is currently the President of the Federal Bar Association’s Northern District of Ohio Chapter and an active member of the Justinian Forum.

Deneen is the proud mother of two girls, both graduates of Notre Dame Cathedral Latin.  When she is not practicing law, you will often find Deneen teaching a spinning class or a body pump class in various gyms in the Cleveland area.
