About Dennis
Attorney Harrington serves as legal counsel to The McClelland Law Group, P.C.. A pioneering leader in personal injury litigation, Attorney Harrington has committed his professional career to zealously representing victims of medial malpractice since 1967. His practice includes negligence and wrongful death cases.
Attorney Harrington attended Catholic University in Washington D.C. and Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. He received his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1951 and was admitted to the U.S. District Court, Western District of Pennsylvania and U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit. In 1963, he was admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court.
A former President of the Allegheny County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, he is a member of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny county, where he served as Secretary, Vice President, and President. He is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, a member of Phi Alpha Delta, and he has served on the faculty of the National College of Advocacy since 1972. Attorney Harrington served as a member of the State Ethics Commission from 1987-1995 and as Chairman in 1991. He was a member of the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania from 1975-1982 and as Chairman 1981-1982.
Attorney Harrington is a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and a member of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He was the first recipient of the Phillip Warner Amram Award in 1990 and also received the Joseph F. Weis, Jr., Distinguished Service Award in 2002.
