Dennis F. Nalick received his Bachelor of Arts degree, with a major in chemistry, from University of Missouri at Columbia, in June 1970, and his Juris Doctor degree from the St. Louis University School of Law in June 1973. He was first admitted to the Missouri bar in 1973, the Illinois bar in 1978 and the Louisiana bar in 1984, and first admitted the bars of the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western District of Missouri, Southern District of Illinois and Eastern District of Louisiana and to the bars of the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, Eighth, and of the United States Supreme Court, at various time thereafter. Applicant has been in private practice from 1973 until the present as an attorney with practicing primarily in the areas of admiralty, maritime, and proceedings under the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act including numerous 905(b) causes of actions as well as the Defense Base Act, Intercontinental Lands Self Act, and Death on the High Seas Act.

Mr. Nalick's practice is almost exclusively limited to representation of the injured maritime workers in matters arising under the Longshore Act, the Jones Act, and general maritime law, and of workers injured under the coverage of the statutory extensions of the Longshore Act. Mr. Nalick has represented and tried numerous admiralty, maritime and Longshore Act cases before courts, administrative law judges and juries in the states of Missouri, Illinois, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Ohio, Kentucky, Florida, Tennessee, Alabama and Texas.
