Favila v. Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP

Plaintiff-Appellant: Attorney for the plaintiff-appellant, Sandra Favila. Favila was the sister and executor of the estate of Richard Corrales, the founder and shareholder of Motion Graphix. After his death the assists of Motion Graphix were sold to Get Flipped Inc. Favila sued claiming fraud, conversion and breach of fiduciary duty. Allegations of conspiracy were brought against the attorney for Get Flipped, Katten Rosenman. The petition was denied by the court. During the appeal new evidence was brought forth and the and the order denying Favila petitions were reversed. The matter were remanded for further proceedings and the estate was to recover its costs on appeal.
