Michael “Mike” J. Dempsher joined the firm as an associate in 2013 and is now a partner. Mr. Dempsher received his B.S. from Towson University in 2004 and his J.D. from the University of Baltimore in 2007. Mr. Dempsher is admitted to practice in the State of Maryland. A Washington County native, Mr. Dempsher began his career as a judicial law clerk from 2007 through 2009 in Hagerstown. While serving as a Law Clerk, he had the privilege of working for multiple Washington County Circuit Court Judges on a variety of criminal and civil matters. Mr. Dempsher left Washington County in 2009 when he began serving as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Frederick County until 2013. During his tenure as a Frederick County prosecutor, Mr. Dempsher handled a wide variety of cases from misdemeanor traffic matters to serious complex felonies. As a former prosecutor, Mr. Dempsher has extensive experience in motor vehicle, drug, firearm and domestic violence cases. Mr. Dempsher represents clients in all areas of criminal law, personal injury, and domestic relations. In addition, as a partner at Rolle & Delorenzo, Mr. Dempsher handles divorce and custody/visitation cases as well as commercial, residential landlord tenant, and business legal matters. Mr. Dempsher resides in Washington County, Maryland with his wife and children.

Prior to joining Scrofano Law PC, Ms. Gnocchi was a solo practitioner who specialized in criminal and DUI defense for 14 years. Prior to that Mr. Gnocchi worked at a law firm in Maryland and began his career as an Assistant States Attorney in Baltimore City. During his time as a solo practitioner, he represented thousands of individuals charged with crimes in Maryland and the District of Columbia in a variety of offenses ranging from traffic offenses to serious violent felonies. In 2023, he joined Scrofano Law PC as a Trial Attorney and started the firm’s Maryland Practice. He is licensed to practice in the District of Columbia and Maryland. He is an active member of the Montgomery County Bar Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the National College for DUI Defense as well as the DUI Defense Lawyer’s Association. Mr. Gnocchi is a native Spanish speaker and fluent in both English and Spanish and has over 20 years experience in criminal law.

Lonnie Greenblatt has represented thousands of clients for over 38 years in personal injury cases due to the negligence of others. Based on his experience, he formed the partnership with Elnur Veliev to create Greenblatt & Veliev, LLC, in order to expand his help and service to more people in the Metro area. His own work has been recognized in the Super Lawyers list for Maryland for three years in a row from 2020 – 2022 as one of no more than the top 5% of all attorneys in Maryland over 70 practice areas. He was chosen for the area of plaintiff’s personal injury litigation, which continues to confirm his pursuit and passion for his personal injury clients. Lonnie is a member of the Maryland, Pennsylvania and District of Columbia bars. Presently, he serves as an adjunct associate professor at the University of Maryland, University College, where he has taught for approximately 25 years. He has also taught at Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland. He graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1979 and graduated from the Delaware Law School in 1982. In 1988, Lonnie received a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from the George Washington University Law School.

William A. Simmons received his J.D. from the George Mason University School of Law in 1982 and received his undergraduate education at Randolph-Macon College, graduating with a B.A. in History in 1977. He is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Mr. Simmons' practice is concentrated in criminal defense and civil litigation. Mr. Simmons has an extensive background in handling and trying felony and misdemeanor cases and civil cases. Over the past thirty years, Mr. Simmons has successfully defended individuals charged with serious offenses that, if found guilty, would have exposed the client to substantial periods of incarceration. Mr. Simmons has defended serious traffic offenses, including, drunk driving, reckless driving, driving while suspended, and driving without a license. In the civil arena, Mr. Simmons has collected monies for victims of negligence, including automobile accidents, slip and falls and workplace-related injuries.
