Donald J. Winder has been practicing for more than 40 years, and was a founding member of Winder & Counsel, PC before joining Magleby, Cataxinos & Greenwood (“MCG”).

Mr. Winder practices in all areas of Business Litigation, with a focus on real estate, business disputes, and employment law.  His litigation, mediation, trial experience includes cases involving big tobacco, complex personal injuries, and transportation.  He has obtained favorable verdicts for clients both in the courtroom and arbitration.

Mr. Winder has been A/V rated by Martindale Hubble for more than 20 years, the highest rating available for an attorney, and has been voted by his peers throughout the state as one of Utah's "Legal Elite," as published in Utah Business Magazine.  Since 2007 Mr. Winder has been selected for inclusion in the Mountain States Super Lawyers.  He is also a member of the American Society of Legal Advocates, and is honored on their Top 100 Lawyers list.  Mr. Winder is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) since 1995, and is also a Senior Fellow in Litigation Counsel of America, a trial honorary society limited to less than one-half of one percent of all attorneys. Further, he is a Litigation Counsel of America Fellow.
Mr. Winder graduated from Arizona State University with a J.D. in 1972, following obtaining a B.A. in Chemistry at the University of Washington.  He has lectured frequently on trial techniques, civility, employment, business, and real estate law.  Additionally, Mr. Winder has a number of publications relating to his various areas of practice.
