About Duncan
Duncan Scott Keir, Partner, is a veteran litigator who brings a breadth of experience to the firm. Duncan graduated form St. Paul’s School on 1994 and received his Bachelor’s of Arts (Art) from Kenyon College in 1998. After receiving his Juris Doctor FROM THE University of Baltimore School of Law in 2006, Duncan went straight into private litigation practice. From 2006 to 2011 Duncan represented clients in business and contract law, family law and personal injury with Summerfield Willen Silverberg & Limksy, where he became the junior partner. In 2011 Duncan moved his practice to the Law Officers of Steven Heisler, where he focused on personal injury litigation, also continued to service his business and family clients. In 2013, Duncan launched Price & Keir, LLC, with his then partner Ed Price. There, Duncan increased his practice scope to include real estate, guardianship, estate administration and litigation.
After Price & Keir closed in 2020, Duncan went to work for the prestigious firm Elville & Associates in Columbia, MD. There he focused on fiduciary litigation, seeking recovery of funds for defrauded individuals, and litigating complex estate and trust related matters. Throughout his journey, Duncan has continued to focus on business development and client retention.
Duncan lives in Baltimore County with his wife Catherine, and their three children. In his free time, Duncan enjoys golf, snowboarding, surfing and playing guitar in a number of bands and ensembles.
