Steven F. He has won many other awards for his trial work that are simply too numerous to list here. He has successfully handled numerous civil (slip and fall, auto accidents, land development litigation, etc.) and criminal trials (narcotics, DUI, capital murder, robbery, rape, etc.). Prior to private practice, he worked on the Narcotics Team and the Major Crimes Team of the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office from 1996 to 2000. He successfully argued for the death penalty in 1999 and was lead prosecutor in a case involving $55 million of cocaine. Subsequently, as a defense attorney, he took the appeal of a client sentenced to death and convinced the prosecutor to vacate the death sentence. He used forensic tire print evidence to prove another client not guilty of attempted murder. In yet another case he uncovered evidence which reduced the offer on a robbery case from 25–50 years down to 2 years probation. He represented one individual charged with 3 separate charges of DUI and had the first case dismissed at the Preliminary Hearing, the second accepted into the A.R.D. program, and the third case dismissed after a trial judge granted suppression of all evidence in the case. Mr. Fairlie has obtained not-guilty verdicts in major jury trials involving shootings, burglaries, rape, etc. despite positive eyewitness identifications of his clients. On appeal, he has successfully argued for reversal of a death sentence in one case and a sentence of 70 years in another case. Recent successful plea negotiations include 2 1/2 to 5 years in the case of a man who struck his wife in the head with a hammer and strangled her and 6 to 12 years in a First Degree Murder case. Mr. Fairlie went to trial on a case involving more than $50 million of land transactions and settled the case in the second week of trial. He has obtained six-figure settlements in numerous personal injury cases, including car accident, back injury, and dog bite cases. Mr. Fairlie often serves as a speaker or course planner for various organizations such as the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s Annual (2007–2025) Criminal Law Symposium in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Montgomery and Bucks County Bar Associations, and various law enforcement training programs. He also teaches numerous other continuing legal education seminars for lawyers every year. He earned his B.A. in Government and Law from Lafayette College in 1991 and his J.D. from The Dickinson School of Law in 1995 where he was a member of the Appellate Moot Court Board, the Environmental Law Journal, and a Chairman of the Student Bar Association. He has been Co-Chairman or Chairman of the Montgomery County Bar Association’s Criminal Defense Committee since 2001, a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association’s Judiciary Committe and Trial Lawyers’ Section, a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Professionalism Committee and Civil Litigation Section, a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers Hotline Panel of Experts Committee, a member of the Montgomery County Sexual Assault Task Force, a member of The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and an Associate Member of the Philadelphia Bar Association. Kevin Steinberg’s passion and commitment to protecting and fighting for the rights of injured victims comes from 30 years of professional experience, as well as his own personal experience. Early in his legal career, Mr. Steinberg was involved in a serious motor vehicle collision where he sustained permanent injuries to his lower back and knees. This experience was quite humbling, and it made him fully appreciate what it is like to be seriously injured as a result of someone’s negligence and carelessness. More importantly, this experience made him realize the challenges clients face with maintaining their personal, professional, and social lives while trying to recover from an injury. This accident gave him a solid understanding of what his clients deal with every day while trying to rebuild their lives after an accident. His personal experience has driven him to zealously fight to get his clients to everything they are legally entitled to. Mr. Steinberg has spent 30 years dedicating himself to protecting the rights of injured victims and consumers. His decades of experience as a trial lawyer and litigator enable him to digest the often-complex issues involved in personal injury claims and to galvanize the salient facts to obtain maximum recoveries for his clients. Prior to founding the KBS Injury Law Group, Mr. Steinberg was Co-Founder and Partner of the Fighting for People Injury Law Group. Before that, he had the unique opportunity of managing the Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Departments as a partner and senior associate in two (2) prominent Center City Philadelphia insurance defense litigation firms. This experience gave him a unique and intimate understanding of the defensive mentality and mindset, which has given him a solid understanding of the manner that insurance defense firms and their attorneys handle and try personal injury cases. This has also enabled him to effectively represent and advise his clients to ensure that they obtain the damages and recoveries to which they are rightfully entitled. Mr. Steinberg uses his years of experience as a litigator and trial lawyer to oversee and supervise the Firm’s legal team to ensure that all of the Firm’s files are properly managed and the Clients are well informed about the developments of their case. He is directly responsible for handling all of the firm’s pre-trial and trial casework; he conducts depositions, navigates complicated discovery issues, handles arbitrations and mediations, and more. He is also responsible for handling and trying all of the firm’s workers’ compensation cases where he only represents the rights of injured workers. As an advocate for injured people, Mr. Steinberg uses his legal knowledge and skill to ensure that all of the firm’s resources are dedicated to the needs of those injured by other people’s negligence and carelessness. In his free time, Mr. Steinberg takes pride in being an active member of his community. He and his wife, Wendy, have been married for over 25 years. They have four boys who are all involved in multiple sports leagues and organizations. He has devoted the last 18 years volunteering his time as a coach for his boys’ baseball, soccer, and basketball teams, and he has served as a Board Member for several community sports organizations, which he consistently did for almost 2 decades.

Keld R. Wenge is a graduate of the Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America where he received his J.D. in 2007. While in law school, Mr. Wenge served as editor of CommLaw Conspectus: Journal of Communications Law and Policy. He was a 2011 participant in the Columbus Community Legal Services program, which was ranked #17 nationally among clinical programs. Mr. Wenge joined Pond Lehocky Giordano in June 2013 where he dedicates his practice to Workers’ Compensation matters and serving injured workers in Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Pond Lehocky, he practiced at a regional trial firm and represented the interests of injured Pennsylvania plaintiffs in state and federal major jury and arbitrational claims, including, but not limited to, construction site accidents, industrial accidents, OSHA violations, insurance bad faith, products liability, premises liability, workers’ compensation and Social Security disability matters. After joining Pond Lehocky, Mr. Wenge co-authored an article with Samuel Pond that was published in the Legal Intelligencer titled “A Subrogation Setback Provides a Framework for Lien Waivers.” He has presented to Temple University Legal Society’s law students on various occasions regarding the practice of law. Mr. Wenge is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, U.S.D.C.- Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and is a Certified Arbitrator of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.

Christopher C. Cara joined Pond Lehocky in September of 2012. Chris attended Middlebury College in Vermont where he made the Dean’s List and graduated with a B.A. in English and with Honors in Environmental Studies. He received his J.D. from Villanova University in 2012. Following his undergraduate graduation, Chris worked at Isles in Trenton, NJ, a nonprofit community development organization. During his time at Villanova, Chris was a three-year recipient of the Deirdre L. Bailey Leadership Scholarship, member of the Pro Bono Society, and treasurer of the Environmental and Energy Law Society. Additionally, Chris worked as a law clerk for the following organizations: Exelon Corporation, the Environmental Protection Agency Office of Regional Counsel for Region 3 in Philadelphia, and the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office in Trenton, NJ. During law school, Chris interned with the Honorable Judge Linda Carpenter in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. Chris’s interest in Workers’ Compensation law sprung from his enrollment in a Workers’ Compensation course at Villanova taught by Workers’ Compensation Judge Todd Seelig, Mr. Cara earned one of the highest grades in the class. Chris now devotes his practice to representing injured workers.
