About Edward
Attorney E. Philip Green is the president of E. Philip Green, P.A. He worked in the movie and stage industry putting himself though college and law school and graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 1981. He is a member of the Florida Bar and the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida. He started his legal career clerking at the U.S. Department of Justice, United States Attorneys’ Office, Southern District of Florida, where he worked on many environmental matters and litigation involving Highway I-75. He then volunteered time at Catholic Community Services where he screened clients and reviewed their applications to determine their eligibility under the amnesty program for immigration purposes and trial. He was also an attorney at the firm of Friedman & Bauer, P.A. where he worked on various transactional matters involving contracts and business issues.
“Phil” as he prefers to be called, gained valuable knowledge of the inner workings of the judicial system while working for more than four years as an attorney for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida, Miami-Dade County, Legal Division, dealing with legal issues at the county, circuit and appellate court levels. Afterwards, he worked for more than fifteen years for the firm of Buchbinder & Elegant, P.A. where he gained extensive experience in family law, probate law, complex commercial litigation and many other areas of the law. He dealt with many complex legal matters involving high net worth individuals (including entrepreneurs, professional athletes, high profile individuals, professionals and their spouses.)
