About Edward

Mr. Solensky has been providing advice and analysis regarding all types of insurance issues for over fifteen years. He is admitted to the New Jersey bar. Mr. Solensky is primarily engaged in liability defense litigation on behalf of insurance carriers, corporate clients, and business entities. He has experience with a broad range of cases in these areas, from the garden variety slip and fall, to motor vehicle and railroad accidents, to product liability claims involving both consumer products and accidents in the work place. Mr. Solensky is uniquely able to plan and implement both offensive and defensive litigation strategies, and brings powerful analytical ability to the complex matters he handles.

Mr. Solensky began his career with an insurance defense firm where he gained invaluable experience and insight into the manner in which large corporations and insurance companies defend serious personal injury suits.  He left the defense bar in the late 1980's to serve as Corporate Counsel for Anchor Savings Bank FSB and Burns International Security Services, where he directed the company's self-insured litigation program.

He is a magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Colby College and received his law degree from Syracuse University College of Law in 1985. At Syracuse, Mr. Solensky served as Editor of the Syracuse Journal of International Law and Commerce and authored "The President's International Emergency Economic Powers After Regan v. Wald: An Unchecked Proliferation of Authority," 12 Syr. J. Int'l Law & Com. 125 (1985).

Mr. Solensky is a partner in the firm since November 1, 2006. His most recent publication blends his experience and abiding interest in premises security with his tort defense practice and appears in the March 2007 issue of Security Management magazine.
