About Eileen

Eileen Minnefor, counsel to the firm, is a civil litigator with experience in a wide range of legal matters. She has worked with Mr. Doar in defending an EEOC class action alleging race, sex and age discrimination, and has provided ongoing employment-related advisory services to the U.S. subsidiary of a European manufacturing company. Most recently, Ms. Minnefor has participated in the investigation of a sex discrimination/ "glass ceiling" complaint filed against a pharmaceutical company and has worked on the defense of two white collar criminal cases.

From 1996 to 1998, Ms. Minnefor served as Assistant General Counsel for the Federal Bureau of Investigation where she provided legal advice to FBI management regarding a variety of legal issues, such as employment law, the Freedom of Information Act, and questions related to the implementation of a new DNA database. In addition, Ms. Minnefor assisted the FBI in responding to an Inspector General's report identifying failings in the FBI Laboratory and helped prepare senior management for press conferences and congressional hearings regarding the report. Previously, as a litigation associate at Pattersonn Belknap Webb & Tyler in New York, and Hale & Dorr in Boston, Ms. Minnefor worked on a variety of complex commercial disputes involving intellectual property, antitrust, contract and real estate issues.

Ms. Minnefor served as law clerk to the Honorable Stewart G. Pollock of the New Jersey Supreme Court (1989 to 1990) and the Honorable Louis J. Freeh of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (1991 to 1993).
